New original works inspired by a journey through the Himalayas and created using handmade natural earth pigments.

In November 2025, I completed the Annapurna Circuit in Nepal. Walking through mountain villages, glacial valleys and high mountain passes, I found myself looking at the landscape differently. I was no longer simply admiring the mountains; I was thinking about the earth itself, the layers of rock, the iron-rich soils, the colours held within the landscape.

When I returned home, something had shifted.

This collection marks the beginning of a new chapter in my practice. Created using handmade pigments processed from rocks and soils, these paintings are not intended to depict the Himalayas. Instead, they are a response to the lasting impression the journey left behind.

Each painting is named after a place encountered along the Annapurna Circuit. They are quiet markers of a journey that changed the way I think about landscape, not simply as something to observe, but as something to collaborate with.

The earth beneath our feet carries memory. Every pigment has its own geological history, and every painting becomes a meeting place between landscape, material and personal experience.

Annapurna Circuit, Late Autumn is my first complete collection using handmade natural earth pigments, and an invitation to consider the landscape not only as inspiration, but as the very substance from which art can be made.

Most works in this collection are sold unframed, allowing collectors the freedom to choose framing that best suits their space while also reducing shipping costs. Professional framing can be arranged on request, and I’m always happy to discuss the options.
