From the rugged textures of coastal terrains to the subtle nuances of eroded landscapes, the artworks invite viewers to reflect on the dynamic interplay between the earth’s surface and human experience. Utilising a harmonious blend of colours, textures, and forms, these creations offer a contemporary interpretation of nature’s timeless narratives.
For collectors seeking original, conceptually rich artwork, this collection offers a compelling investment in both aesthetic and narrative. Each piece is a one-of-a-kind exploration of geological memory and emotional terrain, professionally executed and deeply rooted in place. With a focus on craftsmanship, authenticity, and thematic depth, these works are designed to hold lasting value, both visually and intellectually, within any discerning collection.
Erosion Forms
“Erosion Forms” is a series of works exploring the deep connection between the human body and the earth, formed from dust, shaped by time, and ultimately returned to soil. Through layered pigment, mineral textures, and fluid forms, the works reflect geological processes like sedimentation, erosion, and tectonic movement. The series meditates on the quiet power of natural forces and the cycles that shape both landscapes and lives.
Helena’s practice is rooted in a sensitivity to place, material, and memory. She works through slow, intuitive layering, allowing washes, stains, and granulated pigments to settle over time, mirroring the way earth records history and emotion in strata. Each piece becomes a space for reflection on our physical and emotional relationship with the natural world.
