As a child, one of my favourite series of books were the Chronicles of Narnia by C.S. Lewis. Little did I know that many years later I would be living in the land upon which Lewis would chose to base his books on. Distinctive and striking, covered in cloud for most of the year, the Mourne Mountains are the inspiration for this magical painting. Covered in purple heather and sweeping down to the craggy coastline, it reminds me of wintery walks through the mist and rock formations.
